More Than Batana. This Is Personal.
BatanaLux began in Roatán, Honduras—a place I love deeply and a community that has become part of my heart.
While volunteering at an animal rescue clinic on the island, I discovered Batana and met Mauda, a hardworking woman whose kindness, strength, and love for her community stayed with me. What began with my curiosity about this treasured Honduran oil soon became something much bigger.
I fell in love with what Batana could do for dry, tired hair, but I also saw an opportunity to create something with purpose.
That became BatanaLux.
I wanted to build a brand that could connect my worlds—Honduras and the United States—while creating opportunities for people like Mauda and giving back to the communities, animals, and causes I care about.
Today, Mauda is part of the BatanaLux journey in Roatán, where she helps represent and sell our products locally. As BatanaLux grows, my dream is simple: when we grow, the people and communities around us grow too.
That's why BatanaLux will always be about more than what's inside the bottle.
It's about women supporting women.
It's about helping families create opportunities.
It's about caring for animals that need us.
It's about giving back to schools and communities.
And it's about honoring the Honduran roots that inspired it all.
From Roatán to Connecticut, every little bottle carries a piece of that story.
BatanaLux is my passion, but its purpose belongs to all of us.
Thank you for being part of it—one bottle, one person, one animal, and one act of kindness at a time.
